“a few peaks need to be clipped” I can only see 2k peak in the FR, where is/are the others? I see a more substaintial drop ~8k, right where I have 10db hearing loss, so I’d probably want a boost there, rather than any ‘clip’. crin’s probably annoyed by the 2k peak, but as typical of him, doesn’t elaborate on the pre-production flaws he thinks needs addressing.

WooEasy, along with YinYoo(I typed it as Y**Y** in feedback Q forum on Head-Fi, & that arsehat AlexClosis deleted my whole post asking about the ‘hidden’ rules)…the Head-fi ‘secret handshake’ only those in the know on HF use— version of Hillary Clinton’s “deplorables” on HF.

ru taking images with your smartphone? Would be nice if you got greater depth of field by shooting from a distance, then digitally croping to ‘zoom’ in. some ppl prefer that asthetic that is very common, but I like razor sharp everywhere! Not a fan of the wonky orange on shell, or overall teal green color scheme. gunmetal grey? on HiFiGo looks slightly better. Since they already knew of complaints with the Blon 3’s, guess we will have to wait another 6-12mo before they address those fit/short tube or ‘issues’ with cable, atypical 2-pin connector in another model. I can wait. Really want to know if this type of hybrid is source sensitive, will it do well with a smartphone only as a source or is it helped significantly by outboard amp/dac?

Next up. waiting for that Dunu hybrid with 13mm Beryllium DD, BA, Planar kinda like an upscale i3…in a TWS w/10band pEQ in app, w/turbo boost mode like the earmico/McLaren Klipsch t10, Set-it and forget-it™ auto equalization recall, by song title or genre …only better, presets for any FR matching simulated hp/ep you want via Siri>Senn Orpheus II anyone?…I can’t wait long enough for that. https://www.earmicro.com
